CONCRETE PLANT - BATCHER/SHIPPER

HERVEY BAY READY MIX (a part of Barro Group) is seeking a Concrete Plant Batcher/Shipper whose primary focus will involve batching and allocating concrete in accordance with quality standards and customer requirements and loader/yard duties

Training provided - applicants who have a genuine desire to learn and possess the ability should apply.

The key responsibilities:

- Meet customer requirements by ensuring quality product delivered

- Accurate batching of orders utilising the Command Batch computer system

- Allocation of trucks ensuring timely concrete deliveries

- Undertake batch plant administration including stock control of raw materials

- General yard and plant housekeeping and maintenance; loader operation

- Follow company systems including working safely

The key skills, experience and attributes:

- Knowledge or experience in computerised batching system is desirable but not essential - training provided





- An ability to multi task and at times work under pressure

- Possess an excellent customer service phone manner

- Current HR driver's licence would be an advantage

- Possess excellent time management and organisational skills

- Well-developed written and verbal communication skills

- A proven ability to work within a team workplace

The nature of our work requires you to work as part of a team and you will need to be flexible with how your hours are worked Monday to Saturday as there will be varying start and finish times.
