Position: Delivery Driver
Salary: $70,000 to $85,000 per annum plus 12% superannuation
Hours: 38 hours per week
Mode: Full-time
Location: 243-245 Lords Pl, Orange NSW 2800
Experience required: Minimum 1 year experience in delivery driving or customer service experience

Overlander Indian Restaurant is seeking a reliable and responsible Delivery Driver to join our team in Orange. The successful candidate will be responsible for safely and efficiently delivering freshly prepared Indian cuisine to customers while providing skilled and friendly service.

Key Responsibilities
• Plan appropriate delivery routes and determine efficient destinations based on customer orders and delivery schedules.
• Safely load takeaway meals, beverages and other orders into the delivery vehicle, ensuring items are securely positioned to prevent spills or damage.
• Verify customer orders and delivery details before departing the restaurant.
• Transport and deliver food orders safely and within the required delivery timeframe.
• Confirm deliveries with customers and obtain delivery confirmation where required.




• Handle customer enquiries professionally and provide courteous service upon delivery.
• Receive and process payments for deliveries where required and accurately account for any cash received.
• Maintain the cleanliness, presentation and protected condition of the delivery vehicle.
• Report vehicle maintenance, safety or operational issues promptly to management.
• Comply with road, traffic and workplace safety requirements at all times.

Qualification
• Certificate II or III in Driving Operations (preferred but not required)

Skills & Experience
• Minimum 1 year experience in delivery driving or customer service experience.
• Valid Australian driver's licence.
• Good knowledge of local roads and surrounding areas.
• Reliable, punctual and well presented.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple deliveries efficiently.
• Commitment to safe driving and careful handling of food orders.
