Technical Officer On Site Sewage Management

At PMHC every employee plays a part in ensuring wework together to achieve positive outcomes for our community.To help us achieve this, we require an experienced TechnicalOfficer to join our On-Site Sewage Management team. You will work across our amazing region whilst protecting the environment and the health of our residentswithin the Port Macquarie-Hastings LGA. As part of our team, you will keep ourcustomers and the health of the community at the forefront of your duties toensure public and environmental health is protected.

On a typical day, our Technical Officer - On-Site SewageManagement will:

- Undertake routineinspections of In office Sewage Management systems
- Assess and determineapplications under the Local Government Act.
- Use technical expertiseto analyse and interpret consultant reports, legislation and guidelines toprovide professional advice to residents and staff.
- Investigate pollutionincidents and respond to complaints, taking appropriate regulatory actionwhen required.
- Conduct themselves inaccordance with Council's values-based behaviours.

Remuneration and Benefits

Employment Type: Full time, Permanent 35 hours perweek

Salary (exclusive of super): Starting in the range of $80,812 to $90,454 depending on skills and experience

Opportunity for performance based increases available after 12 months.
