About the Role

We are looking for a compassionate and reliable NDIS Support Worker to join our team, providing high-quality, person-centred support to participants across North Brisbane. This role suits someone who is patient, adaptable, and genuinely committed to helping people live with greater independence and dignity.

Key Responsibilities

- Provide personal care and daily living support in line with each participant's care plan
- Assist with domestic tasks such as meal preparation, light housekeeping, and laundry
- Support participants with community access, appointments, and social activities
- Assist with mobility and transfers, following individual support plans
- Provide companionship and encourage participant independence and skill-building
- Accurately document shift notes, incidents, and any changes in participant condition
- Follow all workplace health and safety procedures and individual support/behaviour plans
- Communicate professionally with participants, families, and the broader support team

Essential Criteria





- Current NDIS Worker Screening Check (or willingness to obtain)
- Current Working with Children Check (if supporting participants under 18)
- Current First Aid and CPR certificate
- Valid driver's licence and reliable, insured vehicle
- Solid communication skills and a genuine, caring approach to support work
- Ability to work independently and follow individualised support plans
- Flexibility to work casual/relief shifts, including some evenings, weekends, or short notice

Good to Have

- Manual handling training/certification
- Hoisting experience (mechanical/manual lifting equipment)
- Experience implementing Positive Behaviour Support Plans (PBSP)
- PEG feeding experience/training
