Supply Chain Operator - Parental Leave Cover

10–12 Month Contract to cover Parental Leave | 30 Hours Per Week | Versatile 4 or 5 Days

Complete Staff Solutions is currently seeking a Supply Chain Operator to join our client’s team on a 10–12-month maternity leave contract.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone with practical experience in a supply chain environment who enjoys a hands‑on, varied role and is confident managing the day-to-day activities that keep supply chain operations running smoothly.

We are seeking a reliable, organised and practical individual who understands the fundamentals of supply chain operations and can work independently across a range of responsibilities.

About the Role

Working closely with the team, you will provide essential support across purchasing, inventory, goods receipting, transport coordination and general supply chain administration. Your ability to stay organised, manage competing priorities and ensure processes are completed accurately will be key to your success.

Key Responsibilities

- Raise, process and manage purchase orders.
- Receive and process incoming goods and ensure records are maintained accurately.
- Assist with inventory control, stock management and stock records.




- Coordinate and support transport and delivery activities.
- Assist with import and export processes and related documentation.
- Provide general supply chain administration and coordination support.
- Liaise with internal teams, suppliers, transport providers and other relevant stakeholders.
- Ensure day-to-day supply chain activities are completed efficiently and in a timely manner.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will ideally have:

- Previous practical experience working in a supply chain, purchasing, logistics, warehousing or related business environment.
- An understanding of purchase orders, goods receipting and inventory management.
- Experience supporting transport and delivery coordination.
- An understanding of import and export processes.
- Strong administration, organisational and time management skills.
- The ability to work independently and confidently manage routine responsibilities.
- Good communication and problem-solving skills.
- A practical, reliable and team-oriented approach.

SAP experience is advantageous, but not essential.
