This is a hands-on factory role responsible for operating our Marel i-Cut portion-cutting machine and ULMA thermoforming packaging line which you will be fully trained on. You will help ensure meat products are accurately portioned, packed, labelled and produced to our quality and food-safety standards.

Key responsibilities

- Set up and operate the Marel i-Cut portion-cutting machine (full training)
- Load products and select the correct cutting programs
- Monitor portion weights, yield and cutting accuracy
- Make machine adjustments to meet product specifications
- Operate the ULMA thermoformer packaging line (full training)
- Load meat into packs neatly and at the required production speed
- Check seals, vacuum quality, presentation, labels and use-by dates
- Complete product changeovers and basic machine adjustments
- Follow daily production schedules and product specifications
- Identify and report equipment or production issues

About you

- Previous experience operating food-processing or meat-processing machinery
- Experience with portion-cutting or thermoforming equipment is highly regarded




- Marel i-Cut or ULMA thermoformer experience would be a major advantage
- Able to work accurately in a quick-paced, chilled production environment
- Strong understanding of portion control, product quality and presentation
- Mechanically minded and comfortable making basic machine adjustments
- Reliable, punctual and physically capable of performing factory duties
- Good communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team
- Knowledge of HACCP and food-safety requirements
