First Steps is seeking an experienced Diploma qualified Early Childhood Educator & an ECT to join our team in Gatton QLD 4343 on a permanent part-time basis. In this role, you will be responsible for providing high-quality care and education to children in our early learning centre, ensuring their developmental and wellbeing needs are met.

What you'll be doing

- Planning and implementing engaging learning programmes that foster children's cognitive, physical, social and emotional development
- Providing a nurturing, secure and inclusive environment for children to learn and play
- Observing and documenting children's progress, and communicating with families about their child's development
- Adhering to all relevant childcare regulations and centre policies to maintain compliance
- Collaborating with the wider team to deliver a cohesive, high-quality early learning experience
- Actively participating in professional development opportunities to continually enhance your skills

What we're looking for

- Experience working as an Early Childhood Educator
- Strong knowledge of early childhood development and age-appropriate teaching practices




- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build positive relationships with children and families
- A genuine passion for helping young children learn and thrive
- Commitment to promoting inclusive, play-based learning
- Current First Aid, CPR, and Working with Children certifications
