Our client is a leading engineering and metal fabrication business seeking an experienced Fabricator / Welder to join their team based in Carole Park. This is an excellent chance for a skilled tradesperson looking for ongoing work, outstanding hourly rates, and a supportive workshop setting.

About the Role
n
Working within a busy fabrication workshop, you will be responsible for manufacturing high-quality handrails, balustrades, stair rails, and associated architectural metalwork. The successful candidate will have strong fabrication skills and be confident reading and interpreting technical drawings.

Key Responsibilities
n
Fabrication of and welding of handrails
n
Reading and interpreting workshop drawings and specifications
n
Measuring, cutting, drilling,



and assembling components
n
MIG and TIG welding as required
n
Operating hand and power tools safely and efficiently
n
Ensuring all work meets quality standards
n
Maintaining a safe and tidy work environment
n
Skills & Experience
n
Previous experience fabricating handrails, balustrades, stair rails, or architectural metalwork.
n
Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
n
MIG and/or TIG welding experience.
n
Experience using hand and power tools.
n
Strong attention to detail and pride in workmanship.
n
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
n
Reliable transport and excellent work ethic.
