A well-established Hemmant manufacturer is seeking an experienced Mechanical Fitter to join a supportive team. This is a hands-on, full time role with genuine temp-to-perm potential.

You’ll handle mechanical fitting, assembly and installation of manufactured equipment, including hydraulic and pneumatic systems.

The Role

- Mechanical fitting, assembly and installation
- Hydraulic and pneumatic systems
- Fault finding, repairs and adjustments
- Reading technical drawings and specifications
- Using hand and power tools
- Quality checks and workmanship standards
- Meeting production deadlines as part of a team
- Following WHS procedures

About You

- Mechanical Fitter trade qualification or equivalent experience




- Mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
- Ability to read technical drawings
- Experience with hydraulic and pneumatic systems
- Strong safety and quality focus
- Reliable, professional and team-oriented

Experience in transport, trailer manufacturing, heavy vehicles or similar will be highly regarded.

Hours

- Mon - Thu: 6:30am - 4:30pm
- Fri: 6:30am - 1:30pm
- Overtime as needed
