Bargo Sports Club is looking for a passionate and experienced Senior Chef de Partie to join our kitchen team.

This is a great opportunity for a chef who enjoys being hands-on, takes pride in what they create and wants to be part of a team that is focused on delivering great food and a great experience for our members and guests.

You’ll play an important role in the day-to-day running of the kitchen, working alongside the kitchen and management teams to deliver a consistent, high-quality dining experience.

Main responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

- Preparing and delivering high-quality dishes with a strong focus on presentation, consistency and portion control;
- Create a harmonious and energetic working setting for all team members;
- Bringing a hands-on, positive and can-do attitude to every shift;
- Monitor stock levels and communicate ordering requirements to the Head Chef;
- Take responsibility for your section during service and ensure it is fully prepared and organised;
- Ensure food is stored, labelled and rotated correctly in line with food safety requirements;




- Supporting and mentoring other kitchen team members where required;
- Working closely with the Head Chef and management team to deliver an exciting and consistent food offering;
- Ensuring that dishes are prepared with an understanding of allergies and special dietary needs like gluten-free or vegan options;

Salary - $82,000-$87,000 + Super

What we’re looking for

We’re looking for someone who is passionate about food and enjoys working in a busy team environment.

You will ideally have:

- Certificate III in Commercial Cookery or equivalent;
- Food Safety Supervisor Certificate (Food Authority NSW);
- Previous experience in a Chef de Partie or Senior Chef de Partie role;
- Strong organisation and time management skills;
- Strong knowledge of HACCP;
- Availability to work on a rotating roster, including nights and weekends;
