Duty Officer - Sport and Recreation Centre

Programmed Skilled Workforce are currently looking for enthusiastic Duty Officers to join a well-established client service team within a large sport and recreation venue on the Sunshine Coast.

The venue operates Monday to Sunday and provides facilities and services in both a community leisure centre and residential accommodation setting, and hosts activities and events for large school, community, and sporting groups.

The Duty Officer contributes to the overall experience for visitors and the role requires an organised individual with strong customer service skills who can work in a fast-paced setting both autonomously and in a cohesive team.

Duties and responsibilities will include, however are not limited to:

- Coordination of group arrivals and departures, including client inductions and collation of client feedback
- Administrative and reception duties including point of sale transactions
- Small and large event coordination
- General operational duties including coordination of seated meals,



facility set up and pack downs and emergent cleaning
- Coordination of emergency & incident response

What we are looking for:

- Ideally previous experience in a similar role (tourism, recreation, and hospitality industries) –
- Positive Blue card – mandatory (obtained prior to commencement)
- Current first aid and CPR certificate (or willingness to obtain prior to commencement)
