What you'll do
As a Casual Relief Teacher, you'll step into different classrooms and provide a safe, positive and engaging learning workplace.
Your responsibilities may include:
Delivering lessons and programs provided by the classroom teacher
Managing classroom behaviour and maintaining a positive learning environment
Supporting student learning,
wellbeing and daily routines
Adapting quickly to different year levels, subjects and school settings
Following school policies, procedures and duty-of-care requirements
Communicating professionally with school staff
What we're looking for
You must have:
Current VIT registration – mandatory
Primary or Secondary teaching experience
Strong classroom management skillsExcellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to adapt quickly and confidently
Commitment to student safety and wellbeing
Two qualified education references
, including a recent school-based referee
