Universal Fans is a ceiling and exhaust fan retail business with numerous eCommerce stores specializing in ceiling fans and ventilation products. On an average day our warehouse staff will pick, pack and dispatch around 200-300 parcels to a range of consumer and business customers Australia-wide.
About the role:
We currently have an opportunity for a current Warehouse Storeman to help with the daily operations of our Dandenong South warehouse. We are offering a casual role with potential to move to Fulltime for the right candidate. Hours 8am-4pm Monday to Friday We're looking for someone with a willingness to roll up their sleeves and be involved. Must have work rights in Australia.
Duties will include:
- Picking, preparing and packing orders
- Receiving and storing inbound goods
- Unloading goods from trucks and containers as required
- Candidates must be capable of moderate lifting as part of manual handling requirements
- Restocking items required for daily utilization
- Ensuring warehouse compliance with WHS requirements
- General Warehousing duties
Experience and skills required:
- Forklift license is a firm requirement
- High Reach Forklift Experience Required
- Picking and Packing skills
- Previous warehouse and distribution experience will be well regarded
- Minimum 1-2 years of warehouse experience is required
- Administration and data entry
