Casual Driver – VMS & Traffic Control Equipment (MR Licence)

APS HIRE is looking for a reliable and safety-focused Casual Driver to join our team, delivering and collecting Variable Message Signs (VMS) and traffic control equipment throughout Geelong and across Victoria.

n

About the role:

n

This is a hands‐on, physical role suited to someone who enjoys working independently, travelling, and dealing with a variety of job sites. You will be responsible for:

n

n
- Delivering and picking up VMS boards, portable traffic lights and related traffic equipment
n
- Operating an MR truck safely and efficiently
n
- Completing basic equipment setup on site
n
- Communicating with the operations team to ensure smooth deliveries
n
- Providing excellent customer service when dealing with clients on location
n

n

What you need:

n

n
- Current MR truck licence (mandatory)
n
- Minimum of 1+ years MR truck driving experience required
n




- Valuable communication and problem‐solving skills
n
- Ability to work independently and maintain a high standard of safety
n
- A positive attitude and willingness to learn
n
- Basic mechanical or equipment knowledge is an advantage (not essential)
n
- Flexibility to work varying hours, including occasional early starts or late finishes
n
- Australian work rights are essential for this position
n
