This is a varied, hands-on role supporting our Warehouse Manager and the rest of our team. We operate across five factory units, and over the coming months we'll be reorganising and redesigning our warehouse spaces to make them more efficient, organised and easier to work in.
Key responsibilities
- Counting screws, fixings and other inventory lines as directed
- Putting incoming stock away correctly
- Replenishing stock on warehouse shelves
- Checking stock levels and letting the Warehouse Manager know when something needs topping up
- Packing accessories and materials ready for customer jobs
- Tidying and organising loose materials
- Helping reorganise and improve the five warehouse units
- Checking deliveries received from suppliers
- Loading and unloading deliveries onto trucks with forklift
- Completing simple local runs in a manual ute
About you
- Take pride in your work and understand that if a job is worth doing, it's worth doing properly
- Listen carefully to instructions and are comfortable taking direction from the Warehouse Manager
- Ask questions when something isn't explicit
- Learn from being shown rather than needing the same task explained repeatedly
- Notice when something doesn't look right
- Reliable and turn up when you say you will
- Can work independently once you've been shown what to do
- Willing to pitch in rather than saying that's not your job
- Have a friendly disposition and understand the importance of good customer service
- Hold a current driver's license and be confident driving a manual ute and hold a forklift license
