About the role

Join the shipbuilding production team at Osborne Naval Shipyard, completing MIG and Flux Core welding, fabrication and structural work on advanced naval vessels as part of one of Australia's largest Defence shipbuilding programs.

Key responsibilities

- MIG and Flux Core welding and fabrication
- Reading and interpreting engineering and fabrication drawings
- Completing production tasks as directed by Production Supervisors and Trade Trainers
- Participating in relevant on-the-job training and development
- Maintaining tools, equipment and materials to a high standard




- Working collaboratively with other trades and production personnel
- Contributing to continuous improvement across the work area
- Following all site policies, procedures and safety requirements

About you

- Australian-recognised Boilermaker/Fabrication trade qualification
- White Card
- Experience with MIG and/or Flux Core welding
- Ability to confidently read and interpret drawings
- Strong commitment to workplace safety
- Ability to pass a Police Check
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to work within a structured production setting
- Must be Australian Citizen
- $13,100 relocation assistance to support your move to Adelaide
- 9 day fortnight for Permanents (RDO every second Friday)
