We are currently seeking an experienced and reliable Semi Tipper Driver to join our team on a full-time basis.

About the Role

n

As our Semi Tipper Driver, you will be responsible for transporting scrap metal and recyclable materials between customer sites, our yard and other facilities.

n

Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

n

n
- Safely operating a semi tipper to transport scrap metal and recyclable materials
n
- Completing pickups and deliveries across Melbourne and surrounding areas
n
- Loading and unloading as required
n
- Conducting daily pre-start checks and reporting any maintenance or safety concerns
n
- Ensuring loads are safe, secure and compliant with transport requirements
n




- Using an iPad and our internal systems to manage daily jobs and paperwork
n
- Communicating clearly with our transport team, customers and yard staff
n
- Maintaining a professional and courteous manner when attending customer sites
n
- Keeping the truck clean and well maintained
n
- Following all company safety procedures and Chain of Responsibility requirements
n

About You

n

To be successful in this role, you will ideally have:

n

n
- Current MC or HC licence
n
- Previous semi tipper experience
n
- Experience operating heavy vehicles in a busy transport environment
n
- A strong understanding of load restraint and safe transport practices
n
- A good driving record and strong commitment to safety
n
- Good communication and time-management skills
n
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
n
- Reliability, punctuality and a positive attitude
n
- Confidence using an iPad or similar technology for daily job management
n
- Scrap metal, recycling, construction or waste industry experience would be highly regarded
n
