Dental Receptionist / Dental Assistant

Stones Corner Dental is looking for an experienced Dental Receptionist / Dental Assistant to join our team.

About the role n

This is a varied role where you'll be an important part of the day-to-day running of the practice.

Your responsibilities will include:

n

Welcoming patients and creating a friendly, positive experience from the moment they arrive

n
- n

Managing appointments, phone calls, emails and patient enquiries

n
- n

Processing payments, health fund claims and general reception duties

n
- n

Assisting our dentists with chairside procedures

n
- n

Preparing surgeries and maintaining a high standard of cleanliness and infection control

n
- n

Sterilising instruments and maintaining sterilisation procedures

n
- n

Maintaining accurate and confidential patient records

n
- n

Ordering and managing dental supplies

n
- n





Helping the practice run smoothly and supporting your colleagues when needed

About you n

We're looking for someone who:

- n

Has previous experience in dental reception, dental assisting, or ideally both

n
- n

Is confident communicating with patients and colleagues

n
- n

Has a warm, friendly and professional manner

n
- n

Is organised and able to manage competing priorities

n
- n

Pays attention to detail and takes pride in doing things properly

n
- n

Is reliable, proactive and willing to pitch in wherever needed

n
- n

Understands the importance of patient confidentiality and infection control

n
- n

Is comfortable using computers and dental practice management software

n
- n

Enjoys working as part of a team

n

Most importantly, we're looking for someone who genuinely cares about patients and enjoys working in a dental practice .
