Engineering Manager

Bielby’s New South Wales team is expanding, off the back of being shortlisted on a number of NSW tenders, we’re looking for a talented Engineering Manager .

n

Based in Sydney, this role will provide technical leadership and engineering governance across a newly awarded project, a major infrastructure initiative restoring critical transport links across regional New South Wales.

n

This is an prospect to do more than manage engineering outcomes. You will play a critical role in shaping Bielby's engineering capability, delivery standards, and long-term growth strategy across NSW while working alongside highly experienced project leaders in a collaborative, agile environment.

About You

n

n
- A Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering and RPEQ or CPEng.
n
- 15+ years in civil construction estimating roles across large-scale infrastructure projects.
n
- Significant experience in Design & Construct environments.
n
- Demonstrated expertise in temporary works, constructability, staging, and project engineering leadership.
n
- Proven ability to resolve complex technical and productivity challenges in live project environments.
n
- Strong understanding of Australian Standards, client specifications, and road authority requirements.
n
- Demonstrated leadership of experienced, multi-disciplinary engineering teams.
n
- Strong commercial acumen and decision-making capability.
n
- The ability to influence senior stakeholders and drive accountability.
