Westside Meat Australia Pty Ltd is seeking a full-time Production Clerk to support the planning, scheduling and coordination of its meat-processing operations. The successful applicant will maintain production records, assist with production schedules and coordinate the flow of work and materials between production, boning, packaging, cold-storage and dispatch areas.

Key Responsibilities

Key Duties

- Prepare and update daily and weekly production schedules.
n
- Coordinate production requirements with livestock intake, boning, packaging, cold storage and dispatch.
n
- Monitor production volumes, workflow and processing progress.
n
- Maintain accurate production, batch and product-movement records.
n
- Compare customer orders with available production capacity and inventory.
n
- Identify and report production delays, shortages and scheduling conflicts.
n
- Coordinate packaging, labelling and material requirements.
n
- Communicate production changes to supervisors and relevant departments.
n
- Prepare production reports and assist with data reconciliation.
n




- Maintain accurate information in production and inventory systems.
n
- Assist management with production planning and operational reporting.
n
- Comply with workplace health and safety, food-safety and company procedures.
n

Skill & Experience

Qualifications and Experience

n

Applicants should have:

n

n
- A relevant AQF Certificate II or III, or an equivalent qualification; or at least one year of relevant experience in production coordination, production administration or manufacturing operations.
n
- Experience preparing or maintaining production schedules.
n
- Sound computer skills, including spreadsheets and production or inventory systems.
n
- Strong organisational and recordkeeping skills.
n
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
n
- The ability to work accurately in a quick-paced processing workplace.
n
- Experience in meat processing, food production, manufacturing or another regulated production environment is desirable.
