About the Role:

Are you an experienced production professional who enjoys leading teams, driving operational excellence, and delivering results in a fast‑paced manufacturing environment?

We are seeking a motivated and hands‑on Leading Hand to support our Production Supervisor and lead daily production activities. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong people leadership skills who is passionate about safety, quality, continuous improvement, and developing high‑performing teams. This is a full‑time role based at our Wyong site on the Central Coast of NSW.

Our operating hours are between 5:30am – 10:36pm. We are currently looking for a Leading Hand to support the afternoon shift. The hours are:

Monday – Thursday, 1:54pm – 10:36pm

Friday 10:54am – 4:06pm

Key Responsibilities:

- Champion a strong safety culture and lead by example.
- Ensure safe systems of work and compliance with company policies and procedures.
- Monitor safety performance within your area of responsibility.
- Lead, motivate, and support a team in a positive and respectful working environment.
- Provide coaching and training to employees on current work practices.
- Encourage teamwork, engagement, and accountability.
- Conduct first-level employee counselling and address workplace behaviours and conduct.
- Build trust and maintain strong working relationships across the business.
- Participate in toolbox talks and promote continuous safety awareness




- Coordinate daily production activities and ensure materials are available to meet production schedules.
- Allocate work, provide clear direction to team members, and monitor workflow.
- Assist with machine, tooling, and equipment setup.
- Support the achievement of safety, quality, productivity, and delivery targets.
- Troubleshoot operational issues and assist with problem-solving on the production floor.
- Support and contribute to operational improvement projects.
- Identify opportunities to improve efficiency, product quality, safety, and equipment performance.

About You:

- A strong commitment to workplace safety and continuous improvement.
- A proactive, positive, and hands‑on leadership style.
- Previous experience leading or supervising teams within a manufacturing, production or operations environment.
- At least two years' experience in a Manufacturing role.
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Strong interpersonal and problem solving skills.
- Excellent problem‑solving capabilities.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent computer literacy and the ability to learn recent systems quickly.
