Qualifications & experience

Completion of a four-year Civil Engineering qualification accredited by Engineers Australia, or equivalent

Eligible for Membership of Engineers Australia (M.I.E.Aust)

Eligible for Chartered Skilled Engineer status (C.P.Eng)

Eligible for registration on the National Engineering Register (N.E.R.)

4–5 years’ experience in Post-tensioning Design and Engineering in Australia

Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills

Proactive approach and commitment to professional development

Tasks & responsibilities

Manage and deliver post-tensioning engineering projects from concept through to completion.





Undertake post-tensioning design and engineering across a variety of projects.

Prepare and review post-tensioning design documentation, engineering calculations and drawings.

Adhering to Company Quality Assurance Procedures.

Coordinate and review the work of engineers, designers and technical staff, providing technical guidance and support as required.

Liaise with clients, builders, architects and other consultants to resolve technical and project‑related matters and provide practical engineering solutions.

Provide technical advice and support throughout the design and construction stages, including attending site inspections when required.

Ensure designs and documentation comply with relevant Australian Standards, codes and project requirements.

Manage multiple projects while maintaining strong client relationships and delivering a high level of client service.

Provide technical guidance, support and mentoring to junior engineers and technical staff, and contribute to the continuous improvement of engineering processes, standards and documentation.

Experience using one or more structural engineering software packages, such as RAM Concept, RAPT and INDUCTA.

Please note: Post-Tension design experience is essential for this position.
