The Opportunity

Our utility client is seeking a Portfolio Delivery Analyst to join their team, contributing to vital delivery governance and project performance across a major digital transformation portfolio. In this role, you will partner with project teams to identify delivery risks, strengthen governance practices, and support portfolio management capabilities that underpin critical infrastructure initiatives.

This is an initial 3 month day rate contract with strong scope for extension. Office based in Brisbane, Fortitude Valley with 2-3 days per week work from home.

The Role

As a Portfolio Delivery Analyst you will be responsible for providing governance and delivery assurance support across Digital Programs to promote successful project outcomes.

Your other responsibilities will include:

- Reviewing key project artefacts and deliverables to ensure alignment with governance requirements, frameworks, and organisational standards.
- Monitoring and delivering assurance insights across project reporting, delivery risks and issues, financial performance, project controls, and data quality.
- Partnering collaboratively with project delivery teams to proactively identify delivery risks, strengthen governance practices, and improve project performance.
- Supporting the consistent application of portfolio management, governance, assurance, and operational reporting practices.
- Assisting with portfolio planning, prioritisation, dependency management,



and governance review activities.
- Contributing to the continuous improvement of governance, assurance, reporting, and broader portfolio management capabilities.

About You

In order to be a successful applicant you will hold a Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Data Analytics, or a related field, or possess at least 3 years of relevant analytical experience.

You will also have:

- Demonstrated experience in project or portfolio governance, delivery assurance, and PMO reporting within digital or enterprise IT environments.
- Proven capability in tracking and analysing delivery risks, project controls, schedule dependencies, and data quality.
- Robust collaborative and communication skills with the ability to engage project teams, delivery leads, and diverse cross-functional stakeholders.
- Experience reviewing project documentation and deliverables against quality assurance frameworks and established organisational standards.
- Foundational analytical knowledge across business process improvement, change control, and risk management practices.
- The ability to obtain required security clearances and satisfy SOCI compliance requirements.
