MacKellar is expanding its production team on a growing mining project near Nyngan, NSW, working in partnership with Aeris Resources.

n

We're looking for experienced Multi-Skilled Production Operators who can operate multiple types of heavy mobile equipment and want the stability of a long-term role with an established mining contractor.

About the Role

n

You'll be part of a production crew responsible for safely and efficiently operating a range of heavy mobile equipment across site.

n

The ability to multi-skill is key to the role, with operators expected to confidently move between equipment types and support production requirements as needed.

n

You'll be responsible for:

n

n
- Operating Haul Trucks and Dozers
n
- Operating at least one additional machine, including:n n
- Grader
n
- Water Truck
n
- Loader
n
- Excavator
n

n




- Completing pre-starts and routine equipment inspections
n
- Identifying and reporting equipment faults
n
- Operating equipment safely and efficiently
n
- Working with Supervisors and fellow operators to achieve production targets
n
- Following site procedures, safety standards and operational requirements
n
- Maintaining equipment care and good housekeeping standards
n

What You'll Need

n

We're looking for operators with a strong production mining background and proven multi-skilled capability.

n

You'll have:

n

n
- Previous experience operating heavy mobile equipment in a production mining environment
n
- Proven experience operating Haul Trucks and Dozers
n
- Experience operating at least one of Graders, Water Trucks, Loaders or Excavators
n
- Current RII competencies and/or verifiable operating history
n
- Strong safety awareness and commitment to secure equipment operation
n
- Reliable attendance and a strong work ethic
n
- Ability to work effectively within a production-focused team
n
- Ability to meet all site access and pre-employment requirements
n
- Flexibility to work a 7/7 rotating day/night roster
n
