Student Recruitment Officer - Melbourne/Sydney/Perth

Convert inbound enquiries into enrolled students — phone, email and chat, from first contact through to a completed application. Build and run the agent network — visit agents in person, onboard new partners, keep existing ones performing, and drive enrolment volume and quality through them, not just enquiry count. Own the events calendar — plan and attend education fairs, expos and agent workshops, and convert on-the-day conversations with students and agents into real applications. Lead video content for the college — plan, shoot and produce recruitment and promotional video for social and web, on top of the recruitment work, not instead of it. Manage leads from every channel — website enquiries, social and digital marketing campaigns, agent referrals and walk-ins all run through the same disciplined follow-up process. Keep the CRM as the single source of truth — every interaction, every lead source, logged and current, so nothing falls through a gap between channels.

Key responsibilities

Convert inbound enquiries into enrolled students through phone, email and chat

Build and run the agent network through in-person visits, onboarding and performance management

Plan and attend education fairs, expos and agent workshops

Plan, shoot and produce recruitment and promotional video for social and web

Manage leads from website enquiries, social and digital marketing campaigns, agent referrals and walk-ins





Maintain CRM as the single source of truth for all interactions and lead sources

About you

Proven experience in inbound sales, customer service or student recruitment (education sector highly regarded)

Confident meeting and negotiating face-to-face with external partners

Excellent phone and written communication; able to explain programme and entry requirements clearly

Genuinely comfortable being measured against a real monthly target

Disciplined CRM use across multiple, simultaneous lead sources

Full Australian working rights and a current driver's licence

Existing relationships within the international education agent network (desirable)

Background in higher education, VET or international education specifically (desirable)

Working knowledge of National Code 2018 Standard 4 (desirable)
