Service Leader - Before and After School Care

Job Description

This is a permanent, part-time Service Leader role offering a minimum of 20 hours per week, 2pm to 6pm Monday to Friday, with additional hours during the holiday program at Erina Heights. You will need to be available every weekday afternoon. You'll have a meaningful chance to lead with compassion, offering top-tier support to children and their families.

You will be responsible for:

- Leading and operating the service each afternoon
- Mentoring and developing a team of dedicated Educators
- Building strong relationships with families and the school community
- Supporting the day-to-day operations and programming of after school care and the holiday program
- Ensuring compliance with NQF standards and TASK policies
- Working closely with your Area Manager, supporting and assisting with administrative duties
- Creating a fun, inclusive, enriching and safe environment for children

What we’re looking for:

You're a motivated, passionate leader who truly cares about making a difference. Experience is essential here, and a childcare qualification is desirable rather than required. You have:

- Hands‑on experience in OOSH, childcare or education
- The leadership skills and enthusiasm to run a service and bring a team with you
- Availability every weekday afternoon, 2pm to 6pm
- A valid Working With Children Check (WWCC)
- Completion certificate for Foundations of Child Safety Training (GECCKO)
- First Aid (HLTAID012) and CPR in an education and care setting
- Current child protection training
- A commitment to putting child safety and families first
