Qualified Landscaper / Leading Hand – Water Features & Natural Landscapes

NatureBuild Australia is looking for an experienced Landscape Construction Tradesperson / Leading Hand to join our growing team in Central Victoria.

n

We specialise in high-end natural landscapes, ecosystem ponds, recreation ponds, waterfalls and streams, creating unique projects throughout Central Victoria.

n

We're looking for someone with robust landscape construction skills who takes pride in their work, can think for themselves on site and is ready to take ownership of parts of a project.

n

No pond or water-feature experience is required — we'll teach you that.

n

What you'll be doing

n

n
- High-end landscape construction including paving, retaining walls, drainage, concreting, timber and natural stonework
n
- Site set-out, levels and interpreting plans
n
- Operating excavators, skid steers and other machinery
n
- Constructing ponds, waterfalls, streams and natural landscapes
n
- Taking ownership of sections of larger projects
n
- Problem-solving and working independently when required
n
- Working alongside a small, hands-on team where quality matters
n

About you

n

Ideally, you'll have Certificate III in Landscape Construction and solid industry experience, although we'd also like to hear from highly experienced candidates with a strong construction background.

We're particularly interested if you:

- Are confident with levels, set-out and landscape construction
n
- Have strong paving, retaining, drainage and/or stonework skills
n
- Are comfortable operating excavators and skid steers
n
- Can read plans and work without constant supervision
n
- Take pride in producing high-quality finished work
n
- Are reliable, practical and comfortable solving problems
n
- Enjoy varied projects rather than doing the same thing every day
n
