We're seeking a Herbicide Technician to join our team, delivering vegetation management and weed control programs across roadsides, reserves, agricultural land and conservation areas.
This is a hands‑on outdoor role where you'll work both independently and within a supportive team, contributing to environmental sustainability, public safety and community wellbeing .
Key Responsibilities
- Safely mix, prepare and apply herbicides using hand‑held, backpack and vehicle‑mounted spraying equipment
- Identify invasive weed species and assess treatment requirements across a variety of sites
- Maintain accurate spray records, treatment data and equipment logs
- Conduct routine inspections, maintenance and calibration of spraying equipment
- Ensure all activities comply with relevant safety, environmental and legislative requirements
- Collaborate with supervisors,
contractors, landholders and other stakeholders to deliver effective vegetation management outcomes
About You
- Current ChemCert or ACUP accreditation (or willingness to obtain)
