A large and diversified organisation operating across multiple service sectors is seeking an experienced Business Central Dynamics Consultantfor a 12 - month fixed term contract position to support the ongoing optimization and enhancement of its Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central platform.

This is an exciting prospect to work within a complex operational environment, partnering with senior stakeholders to improve business processes, strengthen reporting capabilities and maximise the value of the organisation's ERP investment.

About the Role

Reporting to senior leadership, you will play a key role in ensuring that Dynamics 365 Business Central effectively supports finance, procurement and operational functions across the business.

You will be responsible for analysing business requirements, configuring and enhancing the system, coordinating integrations, and driving continuous improvement initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

- Engage with stakeholders to understand and document business requirements.
- Configure and optimise Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central to support organisational needs.
- Identify opportunities to streamline processes and improve system utilisation.
- Work with external vendors and technical partners to implement enhancements and integrations.
- Lead testing activities, including user acceptance testing and deployment planning.
- Develop system documentation, procedures and training materials.
- Provide end-user support and facilitate training sessions across the business.
- Monitor system performance and recommend improvements to maximise efficiency and data integrity.




- Support finance and operational teams with reporting and workflow optimisation.
- Participate in future implementation projects, upgrades and strategic initiatives as required.

About You

- Proven experience working with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central, preferably in a consulting, implementation or systems administration environment.
- Strong understanding of finance, procurement and business operations processes.
- Experience in requirements gathering, process mapping and solution design.
- Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
- Experience working within medium to large organisations.
- Relevant tertiary qualifications in Business, Information Technology, Accounting or a related discipline are desirable.
