Key Responsibilities
- Readandinterprettechnicaldrawings,plansandprojectspecifications
- Accuratelymeasurestonematerialsanddeterminecuttingrequirements
- Cut,shape,polishandfinishstonetoprojectspecifications
- Fabricateandinstallstonebenchtopsandsplashbacks
- Installstonefeaturesincludingfireplacesandbarbecues
- Checkmeasurementsandfinishedworkforaccuracyandquality
- Identifypracticalissuesandmakeappropriateadjustmentsduringinstallation
- Workwithinstallationandconstructionteamstocompleteprojectsefficiently
- Operatespecialisedstonefabricationandinstallationequipment
- Maintaintools,machineryandequipmentinsafeworkingcondition
- Followworkplacesafetyproceduresandmaintainacleanworkenvironment
- Deliverconsistentworkmanshipacrossdifferentstoneinstallationprojects
Requirements & Eligibility
- Recognisedtradequalificationorformaltraininginstonemasonry
- Tradecertificateinstonemasonry
- Minimum3-5yearsofrelevanthands-onindustryexperience
- Demonstratedexperienceinstonecutting,shaping,finishingandinstallation
- Abilitytointerprettechnicaldrawingsandspecificationsindependently
- Provenpracticalknowledgeofspecialisedstonemasonrytoolsandequipment
- Strongattentiontomeasurements,finishingandinstallationdetails
- Abilitytoidentifyandresolvetechnicalorinstallationissues
- Reliableapproachtoquality,safetyandworkplaceprocedures
- Abilitytoworkeffectivelywithconstructionandinstallationteams
- Suitablephysicalfitnessformanualstonehandlingandinstallationwork
- Applicantsmustbeabletoprovideevidencesupportingtheirqualificationsandrelevantworkexperience
