Manufacturing Manager

Globe 24-7 is partnering with an established mining manufacturing business to appoint an experienced Manufacturing Manager to lead a key WA manufacturing operation.

n

This is a hands‐on leadership role for someone who understands heavy manufacturing and fabrication and knows how to get the best out of both people and production.

n

You'll take ownership of the day‐to‐day manufacturing function, working closely with workshop leadership and trades to ensure work is planned effectively, production targets are met and quality remains high.

n

There's also a strong focus on continuous improvement, with the prospect to influence how the operation runs, improve workflow and drive greater efficiency across the manufacturing process.

The role

You'll be responsible for:

n

n
- Leading the manufacturing and workshop operation
n
- Managing production planning, scheduling and delivery
n
- Providing leadership across supervisors, leading hands and trades
n
- Driving productivity, efficiency and continuous improvement
n
- Ensuring quality, safety and production standards are maintained
n
- Identifying bottlenecks and improving workflow
n
- Building a positive, accountable and high‐performing team culture
n




- Working closely with other areas of the business to meet operational and customer requirements
n

About you

n

We're looking for an experienced manufacturing leader from a heavy fabrication, engineering, mining equipment or similar industrial environment.

n

You'll ideally bring:

n

n
- Experience as a Manufacturing Manager, Operations Manager, Fabrication Manager, Workshop Manager or similar
n
- Strong knowledge of heavy fabrication and welding environments
n
- A trade background in boilermaking, welding or fabrication will be highly regarded
n
- Proven experience leading supervisors and trade‐based teams
n
- Strong production planning and problem‐solving capability
n
- Experience improving manufacturing processes, productivity and workflow
n
- A practical, hands‐on leadership style
n
