You will be joining a team at a busy veterinary clinic where you will get to do a bit of everything with no set role and no day is the same. You will be working across reception, patient care, and assisting veterinarians with procedures. We are a small 2 vet practice located in Bowral in the southern highlands .
Key responsibilities
- Reception duties including answering phones, assisting clients with enquiries, admitting and discharging patients
- Cleaning
- Patient care
- Monitoring anaesthetics
- Assisting vets with procedures such as blood collection, IV catheter placement, and restraining patients
About you
- Passionate about animals
- Certificate IV in veterinary nursing (desirable but not essential)
- Adaptable availability to work 4-5 days a week and occasional Saturdays and available to fill in on days people are sick
- Quick learner
- Great at working in a team environment and by yourself
