About the role

We are seeking a dynamic and motivated Senior Sales Person to join the Booth Rural team in Townsville, QLD. This is a full-time position that plays a vital role in the day-to-day operation of the business, driving our sales growth and building strong relationships with our valued customers. As a Senior Sales Person, you will be at the forefront of our business, representing Booth Rural and helping customers find the right rural and agricultural solutions for their needs. This position is essential to our continued success and expansion in the regional market.

What you'll be doing

Identifying and prospecting potential customers within the rural and agricultural sector

Building and maintaining strong relationships with existing customers to ensure satisfaction and loyalty

Presenting and demonstrating rural and agricultural products to customers in a compelling and knowledgeable manner

Providing advice and recommendations tailored to each customer's specific needs

Oversee, coordinate and process product ordering and stock requirements accurately and efficiently





Collaborating with the wider team to ensure excellent customer service and operational support

Keeping detailed records of sales activities, customer interactions and follow-ups

Staying informed and up to date with agricultural products, pricing, market trends and customer requirements

Actively engaging with customers to identify areas for improvement

What we're looking for

Proactive and driven person

Proven experience in a sales role, preferably within the agricultural, rural or related industry

Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport with diverse customers

A genuine passion for rural and agricultural products and industries

Excellent customer service mindset with a focus on solving customer problems

Physical capability to handle rural and agricultural products and operate in diverse environmental conditions

A valid light rigid drivers' licence and forklift ticket or ability to obtain

Flexibility and willingness to work extended hours during peak seasons if required

Honesty, integrity and reliability in all business dealings
