The Opportunity

We are currently seeking an experienced Project Engineer to join a leading piling, civil and ground engineering contractor delivering major infrastructure and construction projects across Queensland and Australia.

This is an excellent opportunity for a Project Engineer looking to take ownership of significant packages of work while working alongside an experienced project delivery team.

The role will suit an engineer with experience across piling, foundations, ground engineering, civil construction or heavy infrastructure who is looking for a long-term opportunity with a strong pipeline of projects.

The Role

You will be responsible for supporting the successful delivery of projects from mobilisation through to completion, working closely with Project Managers, Site Supervisors, subcontractors and clients.

Key responsibilities include:

- Supporting the delivery of piling, ground engineering and civil construction projects
- Managing project documentation, quality, safety and environmental requirements
- Planning and coordinating subcontractors, suppliers and site resources
- Monitoring project costs, progress and productivity
- Preparing progress claims, variations and project reporting
- Managing RFIs, ITPs, SWMS and technical documentation




- Working closely with the site team to resolve construction and engineering issues
- Assisting with programming and project planning
- Maintaining robust relationships with clients, consultants and subcontractors
- Ensuring projects are delivered safely, efficiently and to programme

About You

We are looking for a Project Engineer with a background in piling, ground engineering, civil construction or major infrastructure .

Ideally, you will have:

- Tertiary qualification in Civil Engineering or a related discipline
- Previous Project Engineering experience within construction/infrastructure
- Experience with piling, foundations, ground engineering or civil construction highly regarded
- Strong understanding of construction methodologies and project delivery
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Strong commercial and contractual awareness
- Ability to work autonomously and as part of a site-based team
- Strong commitment to safety and quality
- Ability to work a 2/1 FIFO roster from Brisbane
