We're looking for an experienced Assembly Electrician to join our production team at our Beresfield workshop. This is not a typical in office or maintenance electrical role - you won't be travelling between job sites. Instead, you'll be based in our controlled workshop environment, carrying out the electrical assembly and wiring of our commercial washroom pods and systems before they're dispatched to site. This role also carries supervisory responsibility - you'll be guiding and mentoring an apprentice electrician as part of their trade training, so a genuine interest in coaching and developing others is important.

Key responsibilities

- Read and interpret wiring diagrams, schematics and assembly drawings to complete electrical fit-out of washroom pods and modular systems
- Install, wire and test electrical components, switchboards, lighting and fittings within a factory/workshop assembly line setting
- Supervise, mentor and sign off on the work of an apprentice electrician, in line with your Electrical Supervisor's Certificate obligations
- Carry out quality checks and testing to ensure all electrical work meets relevant Australian Standards and compliance requirements
- Work closely with the production and quality teams to maintain workflow and delivery schedules
- Maintain accurate records of work completed, testing results and apprentice supervision




- Follow all workplace health and safety procedures within the workshop environment

About you

- Current Electrical Supervisor's Certificate - required, as you will be supervising an apprentice
- Completed electrical trade qualification and a current electrician's licence
- Ability to confidently read and work from wiring diagrams, schematics and technical drawings
- Experience in an assembly, manufacturing or production environment (highly regarded, though on-site experience will also be considered)
- A hands-on, quality-focused approach and pride in producing consistent, reliable work
- Willingness and ability to mentor and supervise an apprentice
