AnD Australasia Pty Ltd is seeking a Service Technician Measurement to join our technical team on a full-time basis in Seven Hills, NSW . In this role, you will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, calibration and repair of precision measurement equipment and instruments for our valued clients across various industries.

You will provide technical support to the primary divisions of A&D; Australasia, which are Weighing, Product Inspection & Medical.

You will play a crucial part in ensuring that our customers' measurement systems operate at peak performance, directly contributing to the quality and accuracy of their operations. This position offers the opportunity to develop specialised technical expertise whilst working with cutting-edge measurement technology in a dynamic and professional environment.

Key responsibilities

- Install, configure and set up measurement equipment and instrumentation at client sites
- Perform routine maintenance and preventative servicing on measurement systems to ensure optimal performance
- Conduct calibration of measurement instruments in accordance with industry standards and client specifications
- Diagnose and troubleshoot technical faults in measurement equipment and implement effective repairs
- Test and verify equipment functionality following maintenance or repair work
- Provide technical support and training to clients on the operation and maintenance of their equipment
- Document all service activities, maintenance records and calibration certificates accurately
- Maintain a skilled approach to client interactions and ensure high standards of customer service




- Adhere to health and safety protocols and regulations during all service activities
- Travel to client sites as required to deliver on-site technical support and services

What we're looking for

- National Measurement Institute Verifiers License 6.1-6.3 & 18.2 (desirable)
- Electrical Connect/Disconnect License (Restricted Electrical) (desirable)
- Working with Radiation License (desirable)
- Trade qualification or recognised technical certification in a relevant field such as electronics, instrumentation, mechanical engineering or a related discipline
- Proven experience as a service technician or in a similar technical role, ideally within measurement, calibration or precision equipment industries
- Strong knowledge of measurement principles, calibration methodologies and industry standards
- Proficiency in using hand tools, digital multimeters, calibration equipment and other technical instruments
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, schematics and equipment manuals
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills with a methodical approach to fault diagnosis
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy in all technical work
- Effective communication skills with the ability to explain technical information to non-technical clients




- Reliable and punctual with the flexibility to travel to client sites
- Current driving license and willingness to travel within New South Wales
- A commitment to continuous professional development and staying current with industry practices
