What you need to know:

As our next Talent Sourcer , you’ll join our outstanding and experienced team, based out of our picturesque North Sydney office. You'll be a critical part of our Sourcing engine in by proactively identifying, engaging and assessing high-achieving Sales talent for current and future opportunities across Gartner's Sales Recruiting Business .

Worried you don't have enough experience yet? No problems - we actually want to find someone closer to the start of their career (up to 1 or 2 years experience in a Recruiting environment, maximum). What matters much more than experience or billing results is your passion, curiosity, desire to be part of a team and your positive, proactive energy. We can teach and train the rest!

You’ll be given access to a range of our Sourcing tools such as LinkedIn Recruiter, our internal CRM platform which houses tens of thousands of candidates, job boards, social media and AI tools, plus we prioritise referrals as a critical source of talent and we run our own candidate events. We are a data-driven organisation so you’ll also get access to the highest-quality market intelligence too.

The great thing about this role is it is regional, so not only will you learn about, engage with and immerse yourself in the Sydney market, you’ll also be engaging talent across Australia, NZ and South East Asia!

What you’ll do





Learn our business, form relationships and networks, engage with Talent ahead of time (proactive sourcing) and set up and manage talent pools that address Gartner's hiring needs in our fast-growing and high-performing Sales teams.

Develop creative sourcing strategies for current vacancies and future hiring needs.

Communicate our world-class employee value proposition to generate candidate interest.

Create and manage targeted talent campaigns using a structured, programmatic approach.

Conduct initial phone screens with candidates as well as structured behavioural interviews. Maintain accurate candidate records in Gartner’s CRM and applicant tracking systems.

Conduct market mapping and talent intelligence to identify relevant skills, companies and candidate pools and share your findings.

Expand your network through industry groups, online communities, events and referrals.

What you’ll need

1+ year of experience in recruitment, talent acquisition, sourcing, or research. Previous exposure to sales hiring is preferred, but not essential.

Demonstrated experience identifying and engaging candidates through direct, proactive sourcing.

Experience with LinkedIn Recruiter, Boolean search, CRM and applicant tracking systems.

Confidence conducting phone screens and evaluating candidates against role requirements.

Familiarity with campaign-based sourcing and proactive pipeline development.

An ability to use data and metrics to guide your approach.
