Synergised is a growing corporate services business providing accounting, financial management, and administrative services to a group of private companies, including businesses operating within the construction industry. We are seeking an experienced and hands-on Senior Accountant with solid construction industry experience to support the finance function across our business and client entities. This role offers broad exposure to financial operations, payroll, cash flow, compliance, and reporting, working closely with the CFO to support day-to-day financial management across multiple entities.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage and operate Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable activities
- Perform bank, balance sheet, and intercompany reconciliations
- Prepare monthly management accounts and financial reports




- Assist with month-end and year-end financial close processes
- Prepare BAS, payroll tax, and other statutory obligations
- Monitor project and job costing performance
- Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning
- Liaise with external accountants, auditors, banks, and regulatory authorities as required
- Help maintain strong internal controls and financial processes
- Provide financial analysis and reporting support to management
- Cash flow management within project-based businesses
- Assist with payroll processing across multiple entities, including construction-specific payroll requirements and compliance obligations
- Support ad hoc projects as required
