Senior Safety Advisor - Sydney | Tier 2 Commercial Construction

The Opportunity

Our client is a well-established Tier 2 commercial construction contractor with a strong reputation for delivering high-quality projects across Sydney. Due to continued growth and a strong pipeline of secured work, they are seeking an experienced Senior Safety Advisor to join their team.
This role offers a mix of office and site-based responsibilities , working closely with project teams to drive a proactive safety culture and ensure best-practice WHS standards are maintained across multiple projects.

Key Responsibilities

- Promote and maintain a positive safety culture across all project teams
- Conduct site inspections, audits, and safety reviews
- Ensure compliance with WHS legislation, company policies, and client requirements
- Lead incident investigations and implement corrective actions
- Assist in the development and delivery of safety initiatives and training programs
- Support project teams with risk assessments, SWMS reviews, and safety planning
- Prepare safety reports and provide guidance to management and site personnel
- Build strong relationships with subcontractors,



clients, and key stakeholders

About You

- Previous experience as a Safety Advisor or Senior Safety Advisor within commercial construction
- Sound knowledge of Australian WHS legislation and industry best practice
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
- Proven ability to influence site teams and promote positive safety outcomes
- Relevant safety qualifications
- Ability to work autonomously and as part of a collaborative team
