We are looking for an experienced - intelligent and commercially minded sales professional, to help grow our already busy electronic repairs division, through both retail and trade sales. This isn’t traditional automotive repairs. You won’t be selling servicing packages or mechanical repairs. You’ll be working with customers and businesses requiring highly specialised electronic repairs and engineering solutions – including ECU, TCU and electronic control module repairs, complex circuit-board faults, processor and BGA/FBGA-related repairs, programming and other advanced automotive electronics work.

Our customers - range from individual vehicle owners through to workshops, auto electricians, franchised dealerships and other automotive businesses across Australia. We need someone who can understand a technical problem, communicate confidently with customers, recognise the commercial opportunity and sell the value of our specialist expertise. This is an established, busy sales position with a combination of B2C, B2B and business development. You’ll be responsible for and be typically focus on –

- 40% Retail Sales – managing incoming electronic repair enquiries, qualifying opportunities, quoting and converting work
- 40% Trade Sales – developing and looking after our existing trade customers and building long-term relationships
- 20% devoted to new business development – proactively identifying and approaching new workshops, dealerships, auto electricians, panel shops, performance specialists and other potential trade partners

Follow-up - is a critical part of the position. You’ll be expected to stay on top of quotes, opportunities and existing clients. Once trained, you’ll have weekly KPIs covering sales performance, quote follow-up,



new trade accounts and existing account growth, with lucrative commissions paid based on your performance and sales volumes.

This is technical solution selling - We don’t expect you to arrive knowing every automotive control module or electronic fault. We do expect you to be comfortable selling highly skilled technical and engineering work. Our electronic repair work can involve advanced diagnostics, circuit-board testing, microelectronics, processors, programming and specialist engineering expertise. That means you need to be comfortable explaining why specialist knowledge is valuable and confidently selling high-value engineering time and solutions.

Automotive experience or background can be useful, however not essential. Experience selling technical products or services in fields such as electronics, engineering, industrial equipment, automation, telecommunications, IT infrastructure or another technically complex industry is equally or maybe more relevant.

We are looking for - Someone with approximately 5+ years of proven sales experience and a track record of building genuine, long-term customer relationships. More importantly, we’re looking for the right person.

We are not looking for

an aggressive, transactional or hard-sell salesperson. Our reputation matters. We want someone that can build trust, give customers good advice and develop relationships that last for years.

Primarily, this is an on-site role at our Maroochydore facility, however we will also require you to call on Trade Clients as well. Approximately two - half-days - per week, will be dedicated to visiting trade customers and developing new relationships around the Sunshine Coast. A company vehicle or vehicle allowance will be made available for these trade-client calling activities.
