The purpose of this position is to carry out all aspects of the startup, commissioning, testing and maintenance of large-scale industrial LV switchboards.

Key Responsibilities

- Delivery of project site works on LV switchgear panels A 415Vac) - Commissioning, testing and handover to customers over multiple industrial projects with main focus on DATACENTERS




- Investigation of site issues/breakdowns with view to carrying out repairs as necessary.
- Completion of preventative maintenance tasks for all aspects of LV switchgear panels. (ACBs-MCCBs)
- Preparation of all tools, test equipment and site documentation for project/maintenance activities.
- Communication and interface with clients, sub-contractors and various internal Vertiv departments to ensure timely progress and meet project/contract milestones.
- Liaise with department internal procurement for any additional material requirements/manufacturing needs to close out defect lists.
- Management of site related paperwork, ensuring documentation is signed off by all relevant parties and uploaded to client portals in a timely manner.
- Responsibility for safe working practices on-site and ensuring all relevant WHS procedures are adhered to.
- Some remote travel may be required.

Qualification & Experience:

- Unrestricted electrical license mandatory
- White card
- Australian Driver's license
- Working knowledge of Electrical Drawings/Control Systems
- Experience in Troubleshooting, flash testing, LV Switchgear and Protection devices
- Familiar with all aspects of electrical panel testing & fault finding
- Competency in primary & secondary injection testing
- Good understanding of secure isolation and electrical safety
- Familiar with maintaining accurate and detailed completion of test documentation
- Experience with Client Factory Acceptance Tests / Site Acceptance Tests
