Contracts Administrator | Commercial Fit Out, Refurbishment & Design & Construct

We are currently seeking an experienced Contracts Administrator to join a well-established and growing commercial construction business delivering high-qualityfit out, refurbishment and Design & Construct (D&C;) projects across Sydney.

This is an opportunity for a commercially minded CA who enjoys being involved in the detail, working closely with project teams and taking ownership of the commercial performance of their projects.

What you'll be doing

Working closely with the Project Manager and delivery team, you will be responsible for:

End-to-end contract administration across commercial construction projects

Preparing, negotiating and administering subcontractor packages

Managing variations, EOTs, progress claims and payment schedules

Reviewing subcontractor claims and contractual compliance

Procurement and subcontractor negotiations

Cost control, forecasting and project financial reporting

Managing contractual correspondence, notices and documentation

Supporting project delivery from contract award through to final account

Building strong relationships with clients, consultants, subcontractors and suppliers

What we're looking for





We're looking for someone who can hit the ground running and has a strong understanding of the Australian commercial construction environment.

You will have:

Minimum 4 years' Contracts Administration experience in Australia

Commercial construction experience, ideally acrossfit out, refurbishment and/or D&C;

Strong knowledge of Australian construction contracts and commercial processes

Proven experience managing variations, EOTs, claims and subcontractor packages

Excellent commercial acumen and attention to detail

Strong communication and negotiation skills

The ability to manage multiple projects and competing deadlines

A proactive, hands-on approach and the confidence to take ownership

Relevant construction, building, quantity surveying or commercial qualifications are advantageous
