The Position

We are looking for an outgoing, commercially minded and highly organised person to take ownership of reservations, meet & greet, sales,



marketing and customer engagement at Aurora Coach Tours . As one of the faces of Aurora, you'll welcome guests at airport departures and arrivals, helping ensure they feel looked after from check-in to their return home.

The Location & Hours

Our office is in Newtown, Sydney , surrounded by cafés, shops and excellent public transport.

This is a full time, office-based role and working closely with the rest of our team is an important part of looking after our customers.

The position is predominantly Monday to Friday; however tourism doesn't always operate between 9am and 5pm . Airport meet and greets, tour departures, arrivals and occasional events mean some early mornings, evenings and weekends are an essential part of the role .

- You genuinely care about customers. You could be organising someone's last ever holiday. Manners, empathy and ethics are our most important core values.
- You're a salesperson as well as a people person. Great sales at Aurora isn't about the hard sell – it's about understanding our customers well enough to help them find the right holiday and giving them a reason to come back.
- Notice the details and take initiative. Reservations leave little room for "near enough". A wrong date, missed dietary requirement, incorrect room request or incomplete travel document can create a significant problem. When something is missing or doesn't look right, you investigate it and take action.
- Communicate well – on the phone, online and face-to-face. This is a role with plenty of variety – you'll need to be just as confident talking one-on-one with a customer as you are speaking to a room full of potential travellers.
- Happy to go above and beyond the call – our guests appreciate this and so do we.
