Job Description: .NET Developer / Lead Engineer

Position Type: Contract (12 months)

Location: Sydney

Position Overview

We are seeking a skilled .NET Developer or Lead Engineer with expertise in AWS and Azure cloud platforms. The ideal candidate should have a robust background in .NET MVC, nUnit, C#, and SQL Server. Additionally, proficiency in RESTful APIs, KAFKA, Kubernetes, and Git workflow is required. Experience with Swagger is a nice to have.

Key Responsibilities

Lead Engineer

- Responsible for code review and ensuring coding standards are met.
- Ensure solutions are aligned with the Commsec Technology Strategy and Architecture.
- Plan, manage capacity, and allocate work alongside the Product Owner.

Required Skills and Expertise

- AWS and Azure cloud platforms.
- .NET MVC, nUnit, C#, and SQL Server (indirect).
- RESTful APIs, KAFKA, Kubernetes, Git workflow.
- Swagger (nice to have).

- Experience in a lead or architect-level role.
- Strong organizational and leadership skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
