About the Role:

- Supervision of team members including delegating tasks to individuals or teams in a clear and concise manner
- Supervise and Coordinate sub-contractors to ensure workmanship aligns with project requirements
- Managing onsite construction activities to ensure compliance to program specifications
- Provide Quality Assurance and control sign off to relevant works, in alignment with project requirements
- Monitor all day to day works. This includes identifying and managing potential challenges/issues
- Manage Client and/or Stakeholder correspondence and interactions during construction
- Subcontractor management experience highly regarded

Key Requirements:

- Initial project drive in drive out work (roster) for a cattle feedlot expansion project. BK have been delivering a number of cattle feedlots, and with the growth are seeking a Site Supervisor/Leading Hand.




- Ability to run earthworks/roads crews and Subcontractor as dedicated Site Supervisor/Leading Hand onsite.
- Ability to run smaller earthworks/road projects from operating a machine.
- Minimum5years industry relevant working experiencein a similar role
- BK are supportive of progressing the career of a Leading Hand into a Site Supervisor Role.
- Experience with working to ISO Accredited standards for Safety, Environment and Quality
- Topcon/Trimble experience
- Ability to read and understand detailed civil construction plans
- Bulk earthworks experience
- Ability to lead works crew, manage subcontractors and communicate with the client.
- Exceptional communication skills, written and oral
- Sound understanding of civil earthworks projects and earthmoving machinery
- Computer literacy including Microsoft Office products
- Ability to work away from home at times
