About Our School

St Anthony of Padua Catholic College is a K-12 state-of-the-art Kindergarten to Year 12 college that provides opportunities for students to be known, valued and challenged for the 13 years of their formal education and beyond. We aim to develop confident, independent young adults in richly resourced learning environments designed to engage students. As an English Teacher, you will inspire students through engaging, student-centered teaching within a Catholic learning environment. You'll bring:

- experience,



qualifications and a willingness to teachEnglish in stagesin 4 to 6
- a commitment to academic excellence
- exemplary classroom practice, utilising a range of contemporary, evidence based pedagogical approaches that support effective learning and academic rigour
- utilisation of formative and summative assessments to drive student progress
- employment of a data-informed approach to setting challenging learning objectives and providing effective feedback
- an ability to create a culture of excellence and high expectations through positive support of student learning
- a commitment to continual improvement of teaching and learning
- the ability to facilitate staff professional development in best practice teaching skills and content knowledge
- highly developed interpersonal skills demonstrating an ability to effectively communicate with parents, students and staff
- ability to work collaboratively in a team environment to promote a shared commitment to teaching and learning and alignment with College strategic directions
- excellent time management, organisational and administrative skills
- a tertiary qualification in Education and NESA accreditation
- Religious Education qualifications or the willingness to achieve them as per Accreditation Policy to Work, Teach, and Lead.
