An established not-for-profit, healthcare organisation is seeking an experienced Talent Acquisition Manager to lead its Talent Acquisition function, manage three direct reports and shape how it attracts, engages and appoints talent across a diverse workforce.

This is a hybrid role that will provide a hands‑on leadership opportunity for an accomplished Talent Acquisition professional who enjoys combining strategy, operational delivery and people leadership. Reporting to the Head of Human Resources and leading a team of Talent Acquisition Advisors, you will have ownership of the organisation’s talent acquisition approach and play an important role in building sustainable workforce capability.

The opportunity

You will lead the end‑to‑end Talent Acquisition function, developing and delivering contemporary attraction and sourcing strategies aligned with workforce plans, budgets and organisational priorities. Working closely with People & Culture and business leaders, you’ll anticipate workforce needs, build proactive talent pipelines and strengthen the organisation’s Employee Value Proposition and employer brand.

You’ll also oversee recruitment operations, governance, systems and continuous improvement, ensuring recruitment and appointment processes are efficient, candidate‑focused, compliant and consistently delivered.

The remit includes external recruitment partners and suppliers, recruitment technology, analytics and reporting, as well as volume recruitment initiatives.

A key part of the role is partnering with senior and executive leaders on critical appointments and workforce requirements, while coaching hiring leaders in recruitment best practice and creating an excellent experience for candidates and stakeholders.

About you

You’ll bring substantial Talent Acquisition experience gained within a complex organisation, with demonstrated capability across end‑to‑end recruitment, talent strategy, workforce planning, sourcing and attraction, EVP and employer branding. Importantly, you’ll have experience leading an in‑house recruitment or Talent Acquisition team and be comfortable balancing strategic priorities with the realities of day‑to‑day recruitment delivery.

You will be a credible business partner who can build trusted relationships and influence at senior and executive levels. You’ll bring strong commercial judgement, an understanding of recruitment governance and employment requirements, and the ability to use recruitment data and market insights to inform decisions.

Experience managing high‑volume recruitment, recruitment agencies or RPO partners and applicant tracking systems will be highly regarded. Experience as a functional owner or administrator of a recruitment system would also be valuable.

Why join?

This is an opportunity to take ownership of Talent Acquisition within a purpose‑led healthcare NFP, where attracting the right people has a direct connection to the quality of services delivered to the community.

You’ll join a values‑driven People & Culture environment and have the scope to strengthen attraction strategy, employer brand, talent pipelines, recruitment capability and systems while leading and developing an established TA team.

If you’re an experienced Talent Acquisition leader looking for a role where you can set direction, improve how recruitment is delivered and still remain connected to the work, we’d love to hear from you.
