Conley Pickering Pendleton is a specialist family law firm with offices in Martin Place and Norwest. We are looking for a Family Lawyer with 2+ years’ PAE to join our growing team on a full time, permanent basis.

This is an opportunity for a lawyer who wants high-quality family law work, genuine responsibility for their own matters and direct access to an experienced Principal — without the layers of hierarchy often found in larger firms.

The Role

You will have carriage of your own files, commensurate with your experience, and work closely with the Principal and wider team.

About You

You will ideally have:

A minimum of 2 years’ PAE practising predominantly or exclusively in family law

A current NSW practising certificate

Strong drafting and analytical skills

Confidence communicating with clients and other practitioners

Excellent attention to detail

The ability to take responsibility for your own matters while seeking guidance when appropriate

Sound judgment, initiative and a willingness to develop your advocacy and strategic skills

A genuine interest in family law and engagement with the profession

A practical and empathetic approach to helping clients navigate difficult and often complex periods in their lives
