At Crowne Plaza Sydney Airport , our Maintenance team plays an important role in keeping the hotel safe, comfortable and running smoothly for our guests and team.
We’re looking for a Maintenance Supervisor to join our team. This is a hands-on role supporting the Maintenance Manager with the day-to-day maintenance of our guest rooms, public areas and hotel facilities.
What you’ll do day to day:
- Perform general maintenance and repairs throughout the hotel
- Assist with preventative maintenance and routine inspections
- Respond to maintenance requests and complete work orders in a timely manner
- Support and guide the maintenance team with day-to-day tasks
- Identify maintenance issues and escalate more complex or specialised repairs
- Assist with coordinating contractors and external service providers when required
- Maintain maintenance records, equipment and stock
- Follow hotel, WHS and safety procedures
What we’re looking for:
- Previous experience in hotel, commercial building or general maintenance
- Practical,
hands-on approach with good problem-solving skills
- Experience working across general repairs, basic plumbing, painting, carpentry and building maintenance
- Ability to prioritise jobs and work independently
- Good communication skills and the ability to work well with other departments
- Previous experience supporting or supervising a small maintenance team
