You'll be responsible for field sales, merchandising and activation across metro Sydney stores, mainly working across independent grocery, Woolworths and Coles stores, but also supporting our distributors through HORECA and Out of Home channels. Key to the role is supporting the top Woolworths and Coles stores with ongoing sales and merchandising support. The varied nature of the role means you could be building a stand, negotiating a secondary display, running a tasting or joining a distributor rep in the field. Your job is simple: look after our best stores, grow distribution, increase sales and make Wallaby unmissable in-store.

Key responsibilities

Building strong relationships with store managers, retailers and distributors

Growing sales and distribution across existing accounts

Prospecting, pitching and winning new customers

Improving range, availability, displays and secondary locations

Planning and running tastings, demos and local activations

Supporting distributor training, ride-alongs and field days

Capturing simple photo and video content from the field

Managing your call cycle, sales pipeline, reporting and results

About you

3–5 years of field sales experience in FMCG, food, beverage or a related category

A track record of winning new business and growing existing accounts

Strong merchandising and in-store activation experience





Confidence working with independent retailers, major grocery and distributors

Sound commercial judgement around pricing and promotions

Experience using CRM, route-planning and reporting tools

A current driver's licence, reliable vehicle and Australian working rights

Proactive, organised and able to follow through

Naturally confident starting conversations, asking for the business and building strong relationships

Health food, independent grocery, HORECA, tasting or event experience would be highly regarded

$80,000 base salary (FTE)

Commission opportunity up to $20,000 (FTE)
